About SIETAR Houston - A Forum for Intercultural Exchange

The Mission of SIETAR Houston :

We bring together people of varied cultural perspectives in an open environment that encourages exploration and celebration of culture.
We promote intercultural education, training and research in the Houston community to encourage intercultural understanding and sensitivity.
We facilitate the exchange of ideas and experience in the intercultural field through personal and professional interchange.
We raise awareness of the intercultural professions and support those who practice them
.

Established in 1991, SIETAR Houston is the largest SIETAR group in the USA. Our members work in many intercultural environments and professions including consulting, teaching, training, counseling, healthcare, business, and human resources management.

SIETAR Houston offers a variety of programs of intercultural and multicultural interest. Our programs and professional networking take place the first or second Saturday of each month, September through June.

We meet from 9:30 am to noon at the Upper Kirby District Center, 3015 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX 77098

SIETAR Houston appreciates the generosity of Upper Kirby District Foundation for this wonderful opportunity to fulfill our mission of promoting intercultural education, training and research in the Houston community!

SIETAR Houston's monthly programs address specific cultures as well as intercultural communication topics, and are conducted by experts in the field, many of whom come from within the membership.

Admission to Programs: Non-members $7.00, Students $5.00, Members Free.
